Costume Party - Fannie and Freddie take 2nd!

We went as the high-rollin' Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.

No, she's not wearing a wig. That is what hot rollers, a curling iron and a whole can of Aqua Net will do. Took 3 shampoos to get it all out.

Our $700,000,000,000 novelty check from Uncle Sam. Signed in great GW fashion - with a red crayon.

We came in 2nd --- to this guy! Good thing we didn't go as Top Ramen this year. It was a pretty good costume though.

Some other political characters. Palin, McCain, and Jew-bama.

Pumpkin Carving 2008

Yes... he got a pumpkin too. Which he ate almost in it's entirety.

Justin carving his pumpkin.

GO COUGS! Justin's finished pumpkin. His best work by far. So good in fact, Shanda's will not be shown :)

Swimming already!

He jumped right off the swim step and swam in the water with me. He helped me dry off on the back of the boat.

First time on the boat

80 degrees in late Seattle September, sounded like a good day away from the office and on the boat. We motored all the way up to Kenmore and stopped for lunch in Kirkland, where Huck met a 110 lb Chocolate Lab named Diesel. We got a reality check: he is going to be huge.

Red Rocket!

Video (18 seconds) Is this supposed to happen already?

Hunting with the Pros

Puppy butts are cute when there is nothing coming out of them. Hunting with Marina, Dave and Carol's 9 month old Beagle.

Huck's First Camping Trip

He got a little restless in the tent and Justin's nose paid the price.

New Family Addition

At Gasworks Park, where he enjoys chasing ducks in the water and eating goose poop.

The weekend we brought him home, 6 weeks old.
